Phil Gilmore has been the senior pastor at FCC since 2002. He was born in New York but spent most of his growing up years in Latin America. He is a graduate of Greenville College in Illinois and received his ministerial training from Western Evangelical Seminary and Fuller Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Oroville, he served as a missionary in the Dominican Republic and pastored churches in Indiana and Southern California. Pastor Phil has been married to Debra since 1980 and has two married daughters. He enjoys reading, outdoor activities and traveling.
Debra Gilmore is a native Californian and has been living in Oroville since 2002. She is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelors of Science degree in nursing. Debra is married to Pastor Phil Gilmore and has two married daughters and one granddaughter. She has been involved in full-time ministry to children since 1989. Thirteen of those years were as a missionary in the Dominican Republic where she directed the Free Methodist Church’s International child sponsorship program’s operations in that country, trained Sunday School teachers and taught kids about Jesus. Debra was hired as FCC’s children’s pastor in 2004. Her passion is to help kids have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. For relaxation she enjoys being out in God’s creation and photography.
Debbie Rayome was born in Southern California but has enjoyed the majority of her life right here in Oroville. She began attending FCC in 1970. She and her husband Gary raised their two children at FCC and now enjoy seeing their three grandchildren attend, as well. Debbie has served almost continuously as a teacher in FCC's Children's Ministry since 1976. After working in banking for 15 years, she quit her job to spend more time raising her family. She volunteered as treasurer at FCC in 1994 and began serving as a member of the Board. She eventually came on staff in 2001, where she serves as Administrative Assistant and Treasurer. Debbie loves spending time with her children and grandchildren and traveling with her husband Gary. Her hobbies include jewelry- and card-making, a chronic addiction to reading, and watching "The Mentalist."
Jeremy Carr joined the FCC staff in August of 2016 as Associate Pastor. He was raised in a Navy family and spent much of his childhood moving around but was fortunate to call the Monterey Peninsula home growing up. He is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Biblical Studies and received his Masters in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. Before joining the faith family at FCC Pastor Jeremy enjoyed working as a Chaplain in both hospital and hospice settings and his passion for care and counseling ministries remains strong. He and his fiancé Grace will be married in December of 2016 and are excited to call Oroville their new home. Pastor Jeremy enjoys staying active through weightlifting and disc golf, as well as other outdoor activities. He also enjoys staying mentally sharp through reading and film appreciation
