Why do we give?
Throughout the Bible, God reminds us that He is the one who provides for our every need. In response, He asks us to give back to Him a part of what He has given to us as a way of honoring Him and remembering the relationship we have with Him. Thus, we give to Him joyfully out of hearts filled with thankfulness for all He has done and is doing.
In addition to our Sunday morning time of giving, we now offer an online option. You can give by clicking on the link below and setting up an account, or you can make a one-time donation by selecting "Quick Give." If you set up an account, your giving history will be available to you at any time by simply logging in and clicking "My Account."
Explanation of different funds you can give to:
- General Budget: all money given to the General Budget is used to cover the expenses for keeping the church running.
- World Missions: all money given to the World Missions account is sent to the missionaries we support in Thailand, the Lorenz family in Costa Rica, Todd & Susan Smith in Papua New Guinea, Don and Kathy Williams in Vietnam, and to Eric Spangler, the Free Methodist Church's Asia Area Director. As a church, we have committed at least $12,000/yr to these missionaries.
- Help Fund: the Help Fund is set up to help individuals and families in our community who are experiencing financial crisis.
